BANGKOK—November 23, 2022—Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, today announced that AMPOS Solutions (AMPOS), a Thai human resources (HR) solutions provider, developed its employee relationship management (ERM) platform on AWS to help companies improve their workplace culture. Built on AWS from its inception, AMPOS has helped over 100,000 users from 20 companies in Thailand achieve HR operational efficiencies and improve employee engagement in hybrid and virtual workplaces. With the ERM platform, customers can drive employee satisfaction with improved communication and a better understanding of company culture in a hybrid work new normal. With AWS, AMPOS can rapidly develop new HR solutions for its ERM platform that can help companies improve staff retention levels and quickly deploy new HR services like communication channels. With AWS, AMPOS customers can reduce operating costs by 30%, cut training costs by 50%, and shorten employee onboarding time by 60%.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, more than half of the companies in the Asia-Pacific region are choosing hybrid work and urgently need new HR solutions that are virtual and interactive to engage employees who lack frequent exposure to their company’s culture. AMPOS built its ERM platform in less than a month on AWS to develop personalized HR solutions, including a targeted employee messaging system that helps drive a productive hybrid work culture. For example, AMPOS’s DayOne and SABER apps help companies communicate with employees on any channel, including instant messenger platforms like Line and encourage good habits like punctuality using gamification and incentives with rewards including retail vouchers. With Amazon QuickSight, a cloud-based business intelligence service, AMPOS customers can visualize real-time data on employee interactions with the ERM platform to better understand employee behaviors, actions, and motivations, and nurture a more engaged workforce. Using Amazon SageMaker, a fully managed service to build, train, and deploy machine learning models, AMPOS customers can also predict employee requirements by analyzing performance data. For example, if workers are likely to need training or help with a project, organizations deliver personalized interactive learning content and support to keep staff engaged, up-to-date, and successful.

“AWS has supported us from our first day to help our customers improve the hybrid work experience. Most organizations that pivoted to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic have maintained a hybrid work model, and with AWS we can rapidly build innovative solutions that improve all workplaces,” said Bancha Dhammarungruang, Founder & CEO at AMPOS Solutions. “Our employee relationship management platform helps companies communicate their culture with remote workers, and by using data to understand workers better, our customers can develop, train, and retain happy and productive staff.”

“Organizations are turning to cloud technology to develop innovative HR tools that improve employee engagement and productivity,” said Gunish Chawla, Managing Director of Mid-Market Enterprise & SMB at AWS ASEAN. “AMPOS Solutions created a platform on AWS that helps companies in Thailand communicate, train, and nurture employees to drive worker satisfaction both in the office and at home. We are thrilled to work with local businesses like AMPOS Solutions to help organizations build more productive and engaged workplaces.”
