Chiang Mai Talent Episode 2 Auditions NOW OPEN!
CHIANG MAI, 23 May 2024 – After an incredibly successful Chiang Mai Talent Episode 1 in April, Glom returns with Chiang Mai Talent Episode 2, set to be filmed on 22 June 2024! Auditions are now open for video submissions just like last time, this time following the popular theme of “Singing Talent”!
Chiang Mai Talent is Chiang Mai’s most anticipated talent competition, designed to uncover the diverse and vibrant talent hidden in Chiang Mai. Positioned as a series of themed talent shows, each episode will be filmed in front of a celebrity judging panel with a focus on a specific talent style and winners announced the same day.
Episode 2 has been given the theme “Singing Talent” and is looking for everyone with a voice to share their songs with the world. Singing talent can be anything from operatic renditions to pop covers, rap, kid’s music and everything in between. Kids, adults, groups and solo performers all welcome!
Deadline for audition submissions is 16 June 2024 – see below for submission details.
Winners of Chiang Mai Talent take home a cash prize of 15,000 Baht and 5,000 Baht respectively, while all competitors gain a chance to earn paid work with Glom in future theatre and show productions. Winners will also be invited to perform in a Talent Show Extravaganza set for December 2024.
This episode will be filmed in front of a celebrity judging panel on 22 June 2024, with the amazing Thai singer and city sweetheart Lanna Commins and The Voice competitor, Thai singer and singing tutor Kanyaphak “Ming” Khan as guest judges.

- Who Can Audition? Solo artists or groups, performances in Thai, English or other languages accepted

Chiang Mai Talent Episode 1 “Musical Theatre” had over 30 submissions, with 11 making it to the live audition, filmed in front of a celebrity judging panel on 27 April 2024. Performers wowed, amazed, touched and moved the judges who had the hard decision to choose a winner. The episode is expected to air sometime in July.
Winner of Episode 1 was nine-year-old Nong Rima (Primparima Panumong), showcasing a creative rendition of Mulan’s Reflection followed by a breakout dance self-titled “The Real Rima”. The Runner-up was a creative performance by Tengkwa (Rachaya Sombatkaew) who impressed judges with a self-choreographed Thai-Western musical number.
