Continental Smile Park brings smiles to children in Map Pha Wai community, Rayong

Rayong, December 23, 2022, Continental brought smiles to children in the community and celebrated the handover of the first Continental Smile Park to Map Pa Wai School, Rayong to support the development of children and the replacement of old and damaged playgrounds in the community.

Mr. Vignesh Devasenapathy, Plant Manager of the Rayong tire plant, represented Continental at the handover ceremony of the first Continental Smile Park to Map Pa Wai School, with Phra Praphatbodhikul, Abbot of Wat Pha Wai, Mr. Pin Chamnanrien, Moo 5 Nong Bua Village Head, and Mr. Chailuck Ketwarin, Acting Administrator of Map Pa Wai School, as the representatives of the Map Pa Wai School. The handover ceremony was followed by activities and giveaways for students led by Continental employees.

With an area of 70 square meters, the first Continental Smile Park consists of an outdoor playground with rubber surfacing for more safety. The playground is installed at the Map Pa Wai School, Ban Khai district, in Rayong. With the Continental Smile Park, Continental provides support to the local community in Rayong in order to offer children enjoyable free time activities and maintain the safety and quality of life in the community. This project is part of the Corporate Citizenship initiatives of the Continental plant in Rayong.
