DCVT appoints Mr. Ralf Kraemer as the new CEO starting from January 2022

Bangkok, 18 October 2021 — Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand (DCVT) has appointed Mr. Ralf Kraemer as the new CEO starting from January 2022, succeeding Mr. Stefano Giordani who has moved to a new position as CEO of Daimler Buses in Italy.

Mr. Kraemer has served as the CEO of Daimler Trucks and Buses (China) Ltd. since 2018 and has held a variety of positions with Daimler during his career with the company, gaining extensive knowledge of trucks and commercial vehicles. DCVT is convinced that his broad international experience will help him succeed in his new role.

Prior to his current assignment in China, Mr. Kraemer was the Managing Director of Commercial Vehicles at PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia from 2015 to 2017, where he made significant business contributions. Before that he was the Sales and Marketing Director for Mercedes-Benz Van at Fujian Benz Automotive China from 2012 to 2015.

Mr. Kraemer, said, “I’m more than happy coming to Thailand and to explore another beautiful country in Asia. Daimler Trucks, my team and me are fully committed to expand our market position in Thailand by bringing more customer solutions, services and new products together with our dealers and partners.”

The company was established in August 2016 and is 100% owned by Daimler.
