DCVT introduces latest FUSO flagship truck to Thailand
The TV3340S makes heavy transport look easy with 401 horsepower engine and 12-speed Automated Manual Transmission that maximizes driving efficiency
BANGKOK, 13 September, 2021 – Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand (DCVT) is launching its TV3340S heavy-duty transport vehicle in Thailand as it strengthens the company’s position as one of Asia’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles.
DCVT has continued to advance its market position since importing the TV3340S at the end of 2020, and now the vehicle is set to officially debut in 
to Thailand’s heavy-duty and long-distance truck sector.
Ms. Patcharin Asavakenkul, Head of Network Development and Marketing at DCVT said, “The TV3340S is another flagship heavy-duty vehicle from DCVT, complementing our well-known FZ4928TT model that was also recently introduced to grow the long-haul logistic segment in Thailand. Thai customers in 20 provinces around the country were invite by FUSO to test the TV3340S and experience it first-hand, and they gave us positive feedback on performance, comfort, technology, and safety, which remains our top priority.
“All new customers are invited to take advantage of our full suite of FUSO services including truck purchasing, consulting, aftersales service, and leasing from any of our authorized FUSO dealers,” she added.
The TV3340S features 401 horsepower and a 12-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) gearbox, also known as a ‘clutchless manual’, and has a maximum towing weight of 50.5 tons GCW (Gross Combination Weight).
Increased engine power allows for continuous uphill accents with no RPM drop while also improving fuel efficiency. A firm suspension system and new driver’s seat provides a more comfortable ride with lower vibration and less fatigue, while the new precision steering wheel gives drivers added confidence when navigating tight turns or curves in the road.
The TV3340S’s interior sports a new, modern look with digital dashboard display showing driving information that places everything within easy reach, while the redesign also reduces cabin noise on long drives.
