Limited-edition packaging celebrates SEA female changemakers in recognition of International Women’s Day

Bangkok, February 28, 2024 – The Hershey Company announced its 2024 celebration of International Women’s Day today with limited-edition Hershey’s bars celebrating the impact of women and girls in SEA by showcasing images of inspiring women on the packages. The initiative aims to recognize those who inspire us every day.

The celebration expands onto digital platforms through https://celebratehershe.com/th-th, inviting everyone to recognize and celebrate the ‘SHERO’ within and around us. This recognition aims to inspire one another to continue creating positive impact with limitless potential. Inspired by this year’s powerful theme, ‘Celebrate SHERO Mode’, Hershey aims to leverage our platform to spotlight how women can reach their limitless potential when they are recognized and empowered. Hershey Thailand will be contributing to this global initiative and the meaningful activations around it this year.

Luigi Mirri, General Manager of APAC and India at The Hershey Company, shared his enthusiasm for the company’s involvement in this celebration. He stated “Hershey will utilize its iconic ‘HerSHEy’s’ bar packaging throughout the month-long festivities to serve as a touching tribute that honors and expresses gratitude to inspirational women, particularly those in Thailand who play pivotal roles in daily life, especially during International Women’s Month”.

Celebrating Women and Their Impact in Thailand

This year, Thailand joins the global celebration by bringing the award-winning #HerShe campaign to life. Hershey Thailand will shine a light on the indispensable role and remarkable qualities of women in Thailand and communities worldwide.

Hershey Thailand and other participating international regions are also partnering with Girl Up, a nonprofit that advances girls’ skills, rights, and opportunities to be leaders to amplify the voices of girls and women who are making a difference around the world.

Expanding the Celebration to Social
The #CelebrateShero digital platform has been launched to inspire more moments of goodness, kindness and appreciation throughout the month. This platform gives consumers an opportunity to nominate and celebrate the ‘SHERO’ in their lives, discover inspirational stories, and take a SHERO quiz to uncover the type of SHERO they embody. This initiative serves to inspire and remind everyone of the SHERO within themselves.
