Largest snow and Ice destination event ever in Thailand gives visitors a fun, refreshing escape from the summer heat

Bangkok, 20 April 2023 – The largest simulated snow and ice environment ever created in Thailand has arrived in Bangkok just in time to provide refreshing relief from the summer heat. Ice Magic: Fantasy on Ice transforms the 3000 square meter space of The Market Bangkok into a multi-zone cold weather wonderland with activities for the entire family.

Apollo Entertainment Media is behind this big-scale event, which invites visitors to experience below zero-degree Celsius temperatures inside a giant tent featuring separate snow and ice zones. Ice Magic: Fantasy on Ice, which runs from April 18 to July 16 at The Market Bangkok, promises invigorating and fun activities, endless photo opportunities, as well as some ice and snow challenges for the more adventurous visitor.

Ice Magic: Fantasy on Ice is divided into two main zones as follows:

  • The Snow Zone, which features artificial snow made by the same machines used in the 2022 Winter Olympics in China to provide a genuine snow experience. The simulated snow is cleaner than natural snow found in cold countries, allowing participants to have fun making snowmen amid fresh snow every day. The Snow Zone also has an 80-meter-long ski slope, one of the longest and highest ski slopes ever created in Thailand, ideal for skiing and snowboarding
  • The Ice Zone, where visitors will find a 300-square-meter ice rink, a carousel, and two ice-made slide lanes totaling 148 meters in length, making it among the longest indoor ice slides in the world. The slides are decorated with ice sculptures created by master ice carvers from Harbin, China, home to the famous Harbin Ice Festival, making for memorable up-close photo opportunities

During its three-month run in Bangkok, Ice Magic: Fantasy on Ice will have several “phases” of activities, keeping the energy fresh, and rewarding repeat visits with exciting moments. Some of the activities being considered across the three phases such as a focus on snow playing and family fun, extreme challenges in subzero temperatures, the addition of hotpot dining, an ice bar, and a winter ski tournament.
