Mr. Robin Spencer, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Thailand, “With our focus of ‘helping people get the most out of life’, Prudential Thailand is ready to disrupt the market and provide the best products and services that match the behavior of every generation, regardless of lifestyle.
“Women have continuously been the key driving force in the Thai society and all over the world, both socially and economically. More women are taking on decision-making roles for large purchases such as homes, cars, electronics, as well as financial products. In Southeast Asia, women are in charge of almost 80 per cent of the consumer goods spends, either by spending their own money or by influencing others. This is aligned with our business, where women are significantly represented because of our female-focused products and service propositions.”
Prudential Thailand has launched ‘Rewrite Her Life’ campaign, which is all about women empowerment through the power of music, which is the perfect source of entertainment that everyone can easily enjoy and relate to.
The campaign has re-written the lyrics of three famous Thai songs, to support, inspire, and empower young women across Thailand. Prudential Thailand also encourages everyone to rewrite other song lyrics to express their own perspectives and discuss current social concerns related to women.
Ms. Pasalaree Theerasas, Chief Customer Officer, Prudential Thailand, said, “We selected three famous Thai songs and worked with the song artists and record labels to rearrange the lyrics to empower confidence in individuality. The re-written songs include ‘Drip Queen’, ‘Kon Mee Sa Nae’ and ‘Pak Kon’. We want to give a new perception of women in terms of body, mind, spirit, and wealth. We also intend to remind women that they do not have to follow conventional wisdom to please others or fit into societal standards.”
