PULSE CLINIC SPONSORS DRAG RACE THAILAND WINNERS IN BID TO
SHOWCASE DIVERSE THAI TALENTS ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
Bangkok 8 January 2025 – PULSE Clinic, a leading Asian healthcare network and longtime advocate for diversity, inclusivity and raising awareness to reduce discrimination, is proudly celebrating its 10th Anniversary by announcing healthcare sponsorship of all Drag Race Thailand Talents, as well as providing support for Season 3 winner, Franky Wonga, and runner-up, Zepee, to attend RuPaul’s DragCon UK 2025.
“Our drag queens are real talents that we are very proud of, and supporting our incredible queens means that we are proud of who we are as community. It’s a reflection of our mission to amplify voices, celebrate diversity, and promote health and well-being for all,” said Dr. Deyn Natthakhet Yaemim, the founder and CEO of PULSE Clinic, a Thai lifestyle clinic with over 20 branches in 7 countries. “We are thrilled that our Thai artists are sharing their talent and stories on an international stage, showcasing the richness of Thailand’s drag culture.”
“This initiative underscores PULSE Clinic’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of LGBTQIA+ individuals,” adds Dr. Deyn. The comprehensive package to be provided from Pulse includes essential medical services, preventive care, and mental health support, providing the queens with the tools they need to stay healthy and confident.
“Oh my gosh, I’m so proud to be the winner of Drag Race Thailand Season 3! I want to push the drag community forward and make everyone proud. Huge thanks to everyone who supported us Thai Drag Artists and to Pulse Clinic for being such a great ally to the LGBTQIAN+ community for so many years! It’s amazing to have people who truly believe in us and care about what we do,” said winner Frankie Wonga.
“I’m very thankful for any help to make our community better, especially in healthcare. I will do my best as the representative of Thai Drag Culture to show the world that here in Thailand, we, the LGBTQ+ community, live happy and healthy lives,” said Season 3 runner-up Zepee.
Dr. Deyn explained that “by removing financial barriers to healthcare, PULSE Clinic empowers these artists to focus on their craft and to continue inspiring audiences with their creativity and resilience.” He said the Pulse program focuses on reinforcing the connection between self-expression and well-being, creating a society where everyone can thrive.
Kasame Sookudom, Creative Director of Yellow Channel, reinforces Dr. Deyn’s comments on Pulse Clinic’s mission, by noting “As representing queens for years, we’ve seen how Pulse Clinic keeps our LGBTQ+ community healthy, safe and thriving.”
“I’ve been working with PULSE Clinic for 10 years, since their inception, and am very proud that they continue being a voice to help end stigma and promote LGBTx health and education, both in Thailand and now globally,” said PanPan Nakprasert otherwise known as ‘Pangina Heals,’ the Host and Judge of Drag Race Thailand who trailblazed Thai Drag Culture to the world stage.
“With PULSE Clinic’s support, these queens will represent Thailand’s vibrant drag artistry, connect with international icons, and share their stories with audiences worldwide,” PanPan concluded.
