PULSE to Host Registration Party for

Bangkok Pride Tennis Tournament 2022

23 November 2022, BANGKOK – PULSE Social Enterprise is delighted to be hosting the Registration Party for the GLTA (Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance) Bangkok Pride Tournament 2022. The cocktail party will be held at PULSE CBD Silom, 2 December 2022, kicking off at 7pm for registered players and from 8pm for the public. Pangina Heals, Asia’s leading drag queen, from the House of Heals, will entertain players before they rest up for the tournament, which takes place 3-5 December at Chulalongkorn University.

GLTA is a global LGBT sports organization that sanctions over 70 competitive tennis events across the globe each year. These tournaments are an opportunity for all tennis enthusiasts from complete beginners to high-level accomplished players to participate in competition level tennis free of stigma and discrimination.

130 players from 21 different countries have registered to play in the 2022 tournament. Said Tournament Director Hein Jan, “We are excited to see so many players joining locally and from overseas following a few difficult years for all players. The level of competition is extremely high and we look forward some great tennis here in Bangkok over the weekend.”

PULSE Clinic is sponsoring all registered players with a string goodie bag representing the ethos of the event.

This year’s Registration Party will be hosted at the newly renovated PULSE CBD (Club Back Door) behind the well-known PULSE Clinic on Silom at Sala Daeng BTS. The event is open to the public from 8pm and will feature performances from the Pangina Heals.
