The European Art of Taste Brings ‘Wow Factor’ to Bangkok’s Asia Fruit Logistica

CSO Italy’s promotional project lets partner companies shine with EU set to finance program through 2025

BANGKOK, Thailand, 19 December 2022 – The European Art of Taste project recently showcased the quality and diversity of European fruit and vegetables to Thailand, adding the continent’s well known ‘Wow Factor’ to Bangkok’s Asia Fruit Logistics.

The event represented a great opportunity to build on The European Art of Taste brand, a program promoted by CSO Italy and funded by the European Union. It aims to present Europe’s rich culinary traditions and diversity of its fresh fruit and vegetables, in addition to high quality processed food products, to key target markets in the Asia Pacific region.

A strong event turnout, including a significant presence of buyers from around Asia and the Middle East, provided tangible business opportunities to participating companies.

The European Art of Taste was launched earlier this year in Thailand as part of a three-year campaign in collaboration with seven leading Italian companies including Apofruit, Cico-Mazzoni Group, Conserve Italia, Lagnasco, Oranfrizer, Origine and RK Growers. Products under The European Art of Taste that are popular in Thailand, China, Japan, and Taiwan include apples, processed tomatoes and their many derivatives, Kiwi fruit plus fresh and processed oranges.
