THE SHELTERING SKY

A solo exhibition with photographs by David Kwan Shon

Mr. Shon’s photographs are snapshots full of poetry. The works on display reflect a period of about 40 years in the life of the artist, during which the Hawaii-born artist with Korean roots travelled between the USA and Asia, hardly ever as a tourist but always as a true traveller and seeker.

This can be seen without a doubt when looking at his photos, which often look like paintings. It is all about sensory impressions and feelings, and this gives his artistic work a certain truthfulness and timelessness.

The artist has been living in Chiang Mai/Thailand for a few years now. (Head High Second Floor)
