Who We Are

TQPR Malaysia

Established in 1995, TQPR’s team have the experience, knowledge and media relationships to help clients to effectively communicate their messages to the correct audiences. As an independent agency, TQPR offers its clients a flexible and responsive mindset that is focused on delivering maximum results with minimum drama.

Our Works

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre – Malaysia’s premier business events venue – has been a TQPR retainer client since opening in 2005. TQPR currently provides the Centre with a full suite of services which includes ongoing media relations, copywriting, media monitoring and business intelligence. In 2013 the venue was awarded the ‘Best Global PR Award’ by the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) - a recognition of the Centre’s first-rate PR machine (of which we are part).

Western Digital Corporation

TQPR provided Western Digital Corporation (and its WD and SanDisk brands) with both corporate and consumer public relations support from 2016 until 2019. Services rendered included the organisation of product launch events, crisis communications support, product placements and influencer outreach.

Intel

TQPR, working in coordination with a Worldcom partner agency in Singapore, provides Intel with business intelligence and media monitoring services in Malaysia. We also provide local insights and counsel, as well as highlighting media opportunities for Intel’s consideration utilising our strong relationships with the Malaysian tech media.

MiX Telematics

MiX Telematics – a leading global provider of Fleet and Asset Management solutions – is using TQPR’s strong automotive media connections to promote its services in the Malaysian market. Activities have included the distribution of media releases as well as the organisation of interviews and speaking opportunities for company spokespeople.

UD Trucks

UD Trucks is a Japanese producer of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks as well as special vehicles and part of the Volvo Group since 2007. TQPR has provided a variety of PR services to UD Trucks. This included media management for the launch of their new truck variant at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) show in Nov 2018.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

ACCA is the global body for professional accountants and has a significant presence within Malaysia. TQPR assisted the ACCA with general media relations support. This included the organisation of PR events, media interviews, press release distribution, media monitoring as well as media engagement at related events such as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) annual conference.

MSIG

MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd is a subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited and a member of MS&AD Insurance Group – one of the largest general insurance groups in the world. TQPR has worked with MSIG in Malaysia for many years providing a variety of services ranging from crisis communications support (including the organisation of media training sessions for senior executives as well as large-scale crisis communication simulation exercises) through to standard media relations support for new product launches and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Citrix

Citrix provides unified workspace, networking, and analytics solutions that help organisations unlock innovation, engage customers, and boost productivity, without sacrificing security. TQPR helped raise Citrix’s profile in Malaysia by leveraging our strong tech and business media relationships to place a series of by-lined articles with targeted Malaysian media.

Keio Plaza Hotel

The Keio Plaza is one of Tokyo’s most distinguished hotels, with 1,438 guest rooms in the heart of the city’s Shinjuku entertainment and shopping district. Since 2015, TQPR, in conjunction with our Japanese Worldcom partner agency, has organised a series of successful annual events to raise the profile of the hotel in the Malaysian market. These have included accompanied visits of selected Malaysian journalists and influencers to the hotel, as well as reciprocal tours by Keio representatives to Malaysian publishing houses – this resulted in a definite uptick in Malaysian bookings.

Opensignal

Opensignal provides independent insights on the state of mobile connectivity globally. TQPR has leveraged its media relationships and experience to successfully promote a series of Opensignal’s reports to the Malaysian media – garnering significant positive coverage for the organisation in the process.

Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL)

The recent visit of the newly refurbished ‘Norwegian Jewel’ cruise liner to Kuala Lumpur provided TQPR with the perfect opportunity to showcase the ship to the Malaysian travel and consumer media. Despite various logistical and timing issues, the TQPR team successfully attracted over 25 top tier media and influencers for a personalised onboard experience that resulted in loads of positive coverage for NCL.

Directions to TQPR (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd:

Set destination to Sri Hartamas Shopping Centre or Plaza Damas.
Once arrived, proceed to the Sri Hartamas Shopping Centre (or Plaza Damas) car park. If taking a taxi instruct the driver to drop you at the main entrance to the shopping centre.

Once parked, proceed to Starbucks. Starbucks is located on Level 2 of the Shopping Centre – but is also connected to the main Plaza Damas concourse at ground level. If in doubt there is an information counter at the ground level of the shopping centre and they will be able to direct you.

Next to the external (Plaza Damas) entrance to Starbucks there is an escalator. Take this up to the next level.

At the top of the escalator take an immediate right. You should see the entrance to mYoga. Turn right again and follow the walkway around the building. Once you turn the corner to the left (after about 7 metres) you will see some TQPR signage next to the first staircase on the left. We are located at the top of the first flight of stairs (almost directly above Starbucks).
