Nissan’s launches ‘CARE FOR YOU – New Normal Life’ Campaign

Supporting customers during the COVID-19 pandemic with safe and convenient vehicle services, and free-of-charge vehicle disinfection

Bangkok, Thailand (January 20, 2021) – Nissan in Thailand has launched a new ‘CARE FOR YOU – New Normal Life’ campaign, to again provide the best support to customers and ensure their continued safety during the latest rise of COVID-19 cases.

The program offers current and future customers safe and convenient vehicle services at dealers and service centers such as at home test-drive options, vehicle pickup services and free-of-charge vehicle disinfection services. And follows a series of customer support campaigns in 2020 from Nissan.

“The safety of communities, customers and employees is always Nissan’s highest priority. Our goal is to ensure that current and future customers have the support they need, and also helping Nissan’s dealer partners during these difficult times,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, president of Nissan in Thailand.

The ‘CARE FOR YOU – New Normal Life’ Promotion Includes:

  1. CARE FOR YOU: drive at your home – offering prospective Nissan car buyers an option to test-drive selected models (New Nissan Note, All-New Nissan Almera, New Nissan Navara and All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER) from the comfort of their own homes. Anyone can follow simple steps to register for a test drive through the Nissan website or Nissan Facebook page. Once confirmed, the vehicle of their choice is carefully disinfected for maximum safety and is delivered to their home so they can have the most convenient and safe test drive.
  2. CARE FOR YOU: aftersales service – introducing convenient on-site and vehicle pickup services for periodical maintenance for Nissan customers. These customer-focused aftersales services reassure customers that their vehicles will receive scheduled maintenance without the need to leave their homes. *(Available at selected dealers. Please contact your local Nissan dealers in your area, to see if this service is available.)

Nissan is also taking additional steps to implement several key preventive measures for COVID-19 at Nissan showrooms and service centers across the country. These include disinfecting the service center every two hours; temperature checking all employees and customers when they enter the dealership; ensuring that staff wear face masks at all times; providing alcohol gel throughout the premises; and consistently disinfecting key vehicle touchpoints like the steering wheel, gear shift, seats, door handles, front console panels, etc.

  1. CARE FOR YOU: free-of-charge vehicle disinfection services – offering free-of-charge vehicle disinfection services to all types of cars whether the customers driving Nissan cars, or other brands, with disinfectant, certified by International Institute and USFDA, at the key vehicle touchpoints like the steering wheel, gear shift, seats, door handles, and front console panels. Visit Nissan’s dealers and service centers nationwide for these services (Terms and conditions apply).

  1. CARE FOR YOU: Also available for health and safety is the Nissan Premium Air-Conditioning Filter, cabin car air conditioner filter that is designed to remove sub-micron and micron-size particles up to 2.5 microns. Tis includes dust, mold spores, allergens, Influenza A virus as well as PM 2.5. The filter also absorbs odors due to activated carbon, and also releases Vitamin C as a way to supply moisture to the skin, during air conditioner operation.
