2022 Theme Is Sex, Life, Chaos: Calm
BANGKOK, 3 August 2022 – Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural PULSE Awards in 2021 on the theme of ‘Sexual Health Matters’, and the significant donation made following the auction of certain award winners and entries, PULSE Social Enterprise is delighted to announce a Call to Artists for the PULSE Awards 2022. The theme for 2022 is ‘Sex, Life, Chaos: Calm’.
PULSE Awards Reflecs How the World Has Changed
“In 2022 the world has become more active, more dynamic, and more complicated. Hence our theme for the PULSE Awards 2022; Sex Life, Chaos: Calm, ” said Dr. Natthakhet Yaemim, Founder and CEO of Pulse Social Enterprise.
“Sex is one of major things that many of us missed during the pandemic,” added Dr. Natthakhet. “After chaos like the pandemic, calm returns. If we are in tune with ourselves, with nature, with our minds, and the universe, we can turn chaos to a higher state of mind.”
PULSE Awards Are Now Global
PULSE Awards 2022: Sex, Life, Chaos: Calm is open to artists from any country who are passionate, determined and unique. Entries can be made in the following categories:
- Painting (2D)
- Sculpture (3D)
- Photography
- Ceramics
The entry deadline is 30 September 2022. Winners will be exhibited in Bangkok at the Pulse Gallery and in Pulse Clinics throughout Southeast Asia. First place winners in each category will receive a cash prize of US$3200, and those winning Most Promising will receive US$1600.

PULSE launched the awards in 2021 to celebrate good sexual health. With the 2022 PULSE Awards, PULSE Social Enterprise provides the space for artists to express their creativity and interpret the meaning of this year’s theme in their own style.
